- What is resin? The resin is simply a form of unprocessed polymer while polymer is the final product for using further. Solid resin has a bit more versatility regarding how it can be formed. It is also supposedly easier to repair. Both of these qualities are not the part of the solid plastic
- Is resin dishwasher safe? No, resin is not dishwasher safe. Hand wash only
- Is resin heat resistant? No, resin is not heat resistant. Excessive heat can deform and soften resin.
- What temperatures can resin handle? The most basic resins can stand up against temperatures from 150° F to 300° F for short periods of time. Over time, the epoxy will begin to distort when exposed to these temperatures.
