What is resin? The resin is simply a form of unprocessed polymer while polymer is the final product for using further. Solid resin has a bit more versatility regarding how it can be formed. It is also supposedly easier to repair. Both of these qualities are not the part of the solid plastic
Is resin dishwasher safe? No, resin is not dishwasher safe. Hand wash only
Is resin heat resistant? No, resin is not heat resistant. Excessive heat can deform and soften resin.
What temperatures can resin handle? The most basic resins can stand up against temperatures from 150° F to 300° F for short periods of time. Over time, the epoxy will begin to distort when exposed to these temperatures.
